Our Philosophy

CASA is different from traditional summer programs – in the very best of ways! With exceptionally talented teachers, a welcoming “at home” setting, countless for-your-whole-family festivities, our Creative Little Kids Program, and the seemingly endless choice of classes, CASA stands apart from traditional summer camps.

Our Team

Creative, energetic, friendly, and multi-talented, the CASA staff is devoted to creating the richest possible summer for your child. Artists and performers, early childhood specialists and teachers – every member of the CASA team has been chosen for their unique insight, skill, and way with children. Our accessible 7:1 student/teacher ratio ensures individual attention. Meet our very special staff during our annual Evening with the Artists potluck on June 25 at 6:30pm, or at Noontime with the Artists on July 10 at 1:00pm. You’ll quickly see why, year after year, CASA students and their parents sing the praises of this remarkable team.

Our Setting

Located on the campus of Sheridan School in upper northwest Washington, CASA offers the best of both worlds: a quiet, neighborhood setting, coupled with in-town convenience. Nestled between two Metro stops (Van Ness/UDC and Tenleytown/AU Park), Sheridan is surrounded by plenty of shade trees, with a playground for field games, basketball, water games, and other outdoor sports. Indoor activities take place in Sheridan’s colorful, kid-friendly, air-conditioned learning spaces.
