This class mini-ceramic workshop is the perfect place to create your own pot, plate or other handmade item, then glaze it to perfection. (Offered only for session I, II and III)

Whether you’re learning to improve your skills on the court or are new to the game of basketball, this class promises great fun for hoopsters of all levels.
The Mad Scientist
Imagine the wizardry you can conjure up in the laboratories of CASA. We’re not exactly Hogwarts, but you’ll learn potions and scientific tricks that will amaze your friends.
Hand-Building Ceramics
Make a take-home treasure, learning the traditional pinch, coil, and slab techniques of hand-building ceramics.
Let’s Lunch
No more ho-hum lunches for you! Make your own CASA lunch and create delicious sandwiches, wraps, Spanish tortillas, pasta, salads and much more. Campers still need to bring their own lunch.
Handball and Tennis
Develop the basic skills to play tennis and handball. Proper techniques for forehand, backhand, serve and volley will be taught against the wall on CASA's outdoor "court" and on the outdoor courts at UDC. Please bring your own racquet.
Hollywood Film Crew
Lights! Camera! Action! Learn the tricks of the movie-making from behind the camera. Become a director, cameraperson, special effects designer and sound operator. This class is designed for campers entering 4th – 7th grade.)
Modern Dance
Moved by music? Explore different movement qualities: rhythmic, spatial, and body awareness. Creative expression is encouraged!
Girls’ Club
This “girls-only” class will focus on feeling good about “me”. Arts and crafts and a social project will be among the highlights. (Offered only for session I, II and III)
Jazz/Hip-Hop Dance
Get your groove on! Enjoy "street style" Hip-Hop and jazz movements and appreciate the various ethnic and cultural influences that jazz brings to life. (Offered only for session I, II and III)
Acting and Improvisation
Do you like to “think on your feet?” Does your imagination soar at a second’s notice? This is the class for you. You’ll learn acting basics and the secrets to successful improvisational performance.
Ink and Printmaking
Ink work is one of the most ancient and beautiful of the visual arts. Master the basics of monotypes, rubber printing, and printmaking, using ink as your medium. (Offered only for session I, II and III)
Puzzle Time
Calling all problem-solvers! Now you can create your very own puzzles from a wide range of materials. You’ll also be able to test your skills solving pre-made puzzles as well. (Offered only for session I, II and III)
Basketball/Softball
“You’re Out!!!” Outside, that is…practicing your curve ball, fast ball, pitch, and swing. Baseball and softball skills will be developed. “Play Ball!”
Mixed Media Workshop
This workshops will explore materials like wire, plaster, clay or recycle material to create your own artwork. You will use your hands to channel your imagination (Session IV only.)
Digital Media
Picture this: using digital cameras and Photoshop software, campers will learn to manipulate images and create flier and posters. What a great skill for election year! (Session IV only.)
Legoland
In this class students will be presented with a weekly building challenge. Their teacher will help them learn how to visualize parts of the whole to achieve an efficient construction. (Session IV only.)
